Angela Y. Ou, LSW

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (A.M.) from the University of Chicago and a Master’s degree in Psychological Counseling (Ed.M.) from Columbia University. My practice is dedicated to supporting individuals who are tired of holding it all together and are ready to find more peace within themselves. I specialize in helping people who’ve had to be strong for a long time slow down, make sense of what they’ve carried, and find a genuine sense of ease and belonging.

In our work together, we will gently unpack what is happening beneath the surface. I offer a collaborative, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirmative space where we explore the different layers of your life, from your interpersonal relationships to broader cultural expectations. You do not have to arrive with the "right" words. My goal is to provide a warm, steady relationship where you can safely process your experiences, untangle systemic pressures, and connect with your authentic self.

Located in downtown Chicago, I work with individual adults, young professionals, and first-generation immigrants.
