Victoria Wee, PhD
Pre-licensed Postdoctoral Therapist
As a first-generation college student and child of immigrants, I became a psychologist because I believe everyone deserves compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care. If you're considering therapy, you may be carrying pain, uncertainty, stress, or simply a desire for something to feel different. I view every person within the context of their relationships, identities, values, cultures, hopes, and life experiences. Many of the struggles that bring people to therapy are often understandable responses to difficult experiences, oppressive systems, and the ways we learn to survive and adapt.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, identity-related concerns, life transitions, stress, and relationship challenges. Much of my clinical work has centered on trauma, including developmental and relational trauma, racial and discrimination-based trauma, and complex trauma. I also work with individuals experiencing insomnia and other sleep concerns.
My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in curiosity, humor, and respect for your lived experiences. Whether you're seeking healing, greater self-understanding, or meaningful change, I would be honored to support you in that process.Office: 1507 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60640
