Phil Kim, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social WorkerTaking the first step to seek therapy can be challenging, and my hope is to make you feel as comfortable and supported as possible in doing so. I recognize that all people have unique needs, and I will collaborate with you to make sure that your unique needs are being met. My approach can consist of both processing your past and its impact on the current self, and helping you gain tools to make tangible, positive change in your life today. As a therapist, I will seek to validate you, support you, empower you, and help you feel understood.
I am a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign's Master of Social Work program, with an undergraduate background in Psychology. My therapy specialties involve working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and eating disorders, and I strive to provide a safe space for neurodivergent folks, LGBTQ+ folks, and POCs. I also specialize in working with young adults, helping them develop a strong sense of identity and navigate life's complexities.
