John Koh, Psy.D.

Dr. John Koh is a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience providing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Since 2011, Dr. Koh has been dedicated to helping adolescents, college and graduate students, young adults, and
professionals in Evanston and the greater Chicagoland area gain insights into their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. He has extensive experience evaluating students from rigorous academic environments, including Northwestern University and the University of Chicago, and understands the unique pressures these settings present.
 

Dr. Koh understands that an accurate, thorough evaluation is the crucial first step in finding the right path forward. He specializes in assessments that offer diagnostic clarification and identify an individual’s unique strengths and vulnerabilities. His clinical expertise includes the evaluation of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), learning differences, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and depression. By utilizing a tailored, evidence-based approach to testing, Dr. Koh helps clients uncover the root causes of their challenges and provides a clear roadmap for the future.
 

Beyond providing diagnostic clarity, Dr. Koh’s assessments are highly practical and results-oriented. His comprehensive reports provide the necessary documentation to support accommodations in high schools, universities, and the workplace. He regularly collaborates with educational institutions, medical providers, and professional organizations to ensure his clients receive the support they need. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Koh enjoys spending time with his wife and teenage children. He also loves playing tennis, reading, and rooting for the Michigan Wolverines.
