Chiao-Jung Lin, LSW
Licensed Social WorkerI completed my master’s degree in social work at CUNY Hunter College, and my master’s degree in psychology at New York University. I have worked with diverse individuals in community settings, including youth, older adults, and their caregivers, helping them deal with life transitions while navigating complex systems.
I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges and seeing them live as their authentic selves. I also find meaning working with immigrants and first-generation individuals who are exploring their identity and belonging while navigating challenges of acculturation, studying abroad, and immigration.
My therapeutic approach is social-justice informed, trauma-informed, and collaborative. In therapy, I believe it is equally important to explore our internal world as it is to examine our external environment. Working with me, you can expect to reconnect with your strengths, wisdom, insights, and to explore your external resources and possibilities.
